cash proof of funds - landing

please help me with this query

how much cash can I bring on the landing day?

I am coming from uk with my wife. is that cash per family or cash per person allowed?

It's the standard 10,000 in USD per family. Unless you have all the docs to prove your funds (e.g. sale of property) and you're willing to got through the trouble, best option is to use other methods like bank demand draft or wire/transfer.

I think it is undecalred up to 10k CAD, not USD, the rest you must declare
