Case Rejected and Reopened - will they ask us to provide new documents

Our case was rejected due a mistake from CIC side and they informed us that the case will be reopened. The documents we submitted was dated 2010. Will CIC ask us to furnish all the documents again??? Thanks

yes they will ask for updated documents. Normally they ask of Updated Forms, POF, PCC etc

Thanks. Will they also ask us to provide new IELTS since the one we submitted was dated 2009 and it's already more than 2 years.

No, Because mistake was at their part. So, they admitted it and reopened you file so all documents are fine.

Would you mind sharing your VO?

Why was your appplication initially refused? Did they sent you the refusal letter? How did you manage to get them reconsider your application again? Did you sent them a reconsideration request?
Your answers would help a lot of people including me . . . . . . .

Dear Friends,
Please advice on my issue.

I got the refusal letter on the basis of JD mismatch along-with Original docs.
My name, address and contact details written on refusal letter was correct.
But the reference they used under the heading of 'Our File' : B0XXXXXXXX was neither my old file number nor my new file number.

What do you think? People those got their refusal letter has different "file number' written on the letter as mine. Or they have their own file number written on the refusal letter??

Kindly guide me for further action? What shoudl I do ??

application filled: Dec 2009
First AOR: Feb 2010
docs submitted: May 2010 some updated document (my new born daughter and my MBA degree and my wife master degree)on may 2011
2nd AOR: July 2010
Status changed to in process from RBVO: July 2011
case refused on the basis of miscalculation of my educational points on march 2012 also got in process date 7th March 2012
did reconsideration : April 2012
got approval on reconsideration : 13 June 2012
my Ecas Status changed to In process again from DM : 27 June 2012


my question is anyone have any idea when i will get my MR or for the next processing step?... please see below my approval email from CHC LONDON

PA5510N, I have sent couple of emails to VO but didn't get any reply. I have contacted to my program manager, he agreed that vo has miscalculated my point and he has assigned a new VO for my file. Then I ve got an email within one week asking for updated forms, pcc n pof within 45 days. my ecas status has been changed from decision made to in process. can i expect a medical request?

Dear I m on the same boat. My case was refused on miscalculation of my educational point I did reconsiderstionnd they accept their mistake nd reopen my file also my online status chnged to inprocess again from DM ......But so far I havent got any update from chc london
