Chance of being approved? This has nothing to do with your location. What determines the chances is the strength of your claim.

Chances of approval are based on country of origin, proof of persecution and proof that you have sought to relocate throughout your home country to find safety. Who is advising you? Have you researched what proof is required to claim asylum? Are you from India? There has been a large number of Indian citizens who have been incorrectly advised to come to Canada and claim asylum mostly in Montreal so please do your own research. Claiming asylum when you don’t have proof that your life is at risk has serious longterm negative consequences for you and likely your extended family so it is important that you only apply for asylum if you have grounds for asylum. Would suggest meeting with a Canadian immigration lawyer.
