Hello all,
I have applied for a PRTD under the humanitarian and compassionate grounds its been 9 weeks and there is nothing. should i apply for case enquiry, if so whats the link for it. I applied in riyadh embassy
thank you

I wouldn't bother applying for a case enquiry - you haven't been waiting that long given your request is H&C. Four months isn't at all unusual in a case such as yours.

but i need it before august if it took more i should withdraw my application. is there a way to know the status or ask them to finish it faster?

CIC will take as long as they need to process your application - they aren't going to expedite because you feel you need an answer by August. Having said that, I think you will most likely have an answer by August.

I'm not sure I understand why you would withdraw your application unless you're no longer interested in keeping your PR status.

Because my university starts on september and if I didn't have an answer by august i have to apply to a UK student visa.

Did you let them know in the cover letter at the pplication stage that you are planning to return to Canada in August to start your studies in September?
Since it have been 9 weeks, and we are in early May now - chances are that you will get it before August, but there are no guarantees...

I was stupid a mentioned only my uni is on september and i intend to return on mid august i was i wrote an earlier date

My friend wrote a case enquiry and got his travel document in 50 days. Shouldn't i give it a try?

Hello,
In the form they asked to upload documents. What documents should i upload?
I guess your IDs that demonstrate that you are (the person submitting the enquiry) the same person whose case is under consideration.
Otherwise everyone would be able to ask about everyone's case, so they need to make sure you are who you say you are.

Hey! I submitted a case enquiry too but no luck, did they reply to you regarding the enquiry? getting really restless ugh

Almost 100 days nothing at all. I sent them a case enquiry. What to do now? Should I send them an email?

I wouldn't!

Let them do their work. There is NO way for you to speed up the process. Remember, your application isn't the only one they're working on. We don't know a lot about their system, so it doesn't make a lot of sense to question what they're doing every single day.

I know it's frustrating, trust me. But at the end of the day it is what it is.

If my clients would call or write me emails all day long I wouldn't have time to do my job... just saying. If you sent them all the information they need you'll get your papers asap.

You're not alone - wait and get yourself prepared.
