Im from Jamaica, and I sent in my application May 21 - 22, 2013. Visa office is Kingston.

I am applying from Guyana. My visa office is Trinidad & Tobago. I am waiting on a letter of acceptance and then I am planning to apply online.
 
im from trinidad and tobago. i applied online on June 3rd. praying to god that i get through.

Nope, no updates. Applied online and got email notification with application number same time. But to date, haven't heard a thing. They did say processing time was about 2 mths though so I'm patiently/impatiently waiting.
 
reshmie do you need to do a medical? also did your school send an email copy of the letter of the acceptance? because if you did then you can go ahead and apply online.
 
scotchy hopefully you should get something soon. the website http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/temp/students.asp stated that it takes 7 weeks on average to process study permit applications. what are you going for a bachelor's or master's?

Im going for Bachelors. I checked the timeline and saw the 7 weeks but I thought they would at least contact you during that time to request stuff. ???
 
oh ok cool. well maybe you submitted all the required documents so they are going to make a decision based on what you already gave.
