Hello all!
I will be attending college in Abbottsford, BC and currently have a student visa to attend there in the fall. I am looking to buy a Mitsubishi Delica in British Columbia which is an import car. The wait time for an import in BC is 15 years. Here is the US it is 25 years. So in order to register one of these cars in my county (Rio Grande, Colorado) it would have to be a 1990 or older. My question is, could I buy a delica that is newer than 1990 and register it in Canada since I will be there full time? There isn't a whole lot of 1990 and older and wonder if it would be an option to register it in Canada since I will be there full time. Im also looking into part time work while I am in college. Will I be able to work just about anywhere while I am in college? And am I allowed to work in Canada in the summer when I am out of school? Sorry if these are dumb questions, thanks guys!
