Okay, so I applied to begin undergrad studies in Montreal as an international student from the US, but due to various circumstances, I wasn't able to finally submit my CAQ application and send in my materials until July 15th. Usually, I'd think this might not be an issue since my program doesn't begin until September, but I just got an email saying my materials, despite having been shipped international express, were only received on the 12th of this month, leaving me paranoid that I won't have my CAQ (and thus wouldn't be able to obtain a study permit) before the start of my program if it really takes the full 4 weeks or longer to process this (would arrive a week too late).
Is there anything I can do about this? If there is anything I can do to avoid it I'd rather not defer my admission to winter term, but at this point, I'm lost as to what I can do or what is possible, and honestly feeling like this is all out of my control now...
