Note: If you are age 18 or over and the expenses related to your stay in Québec in order to study are undertaken by another person (your father, mother or a third party), you must enclose the following documents:
- the original or a copy of the duly signed Declaration of financial support (PDF, 48 Kb) (model provided or blank sheet of paper)
- the originals or copies of detailed proof of this person's financial capacity (employment letter indicating this person's salary, pay slips, income tax return, bank letter(s) (PDF, 23 Kb) indicating account balance, etc.).

I am basically concerned about the details which need to get filled in Bank Letter form available at

http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/publications/en/studies/bank-letter.pdf

Please help in resolving theses queries related to the Bank Letter details like How much "current Balance" do I need to mention there along with other details. Should it be exactly what it is at present or some modifications with Higher value would be preferred ??

Proof of funds is only for citizens of the U.S. They rely on the canadian visa office to check funds in
Other countries. You dont need to send any docs for the caq.

Im indian and Im at mcgill now so yes im
Pretty sure of what Im saying. Dont send fin docs for caq.

Read the applic properly.

Only these countries show fin proof.



OPTION 1
If this is a first application for a CAQ for studies and you (the future student) currently live in Austria, Canada, United
States, France (including La Réunion), Greenland, Hong Kong, Mexico, Monaco, or Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, enclose the following documents with the application form:

If you were not required to provide proof of financial capacity, you will receive a single copy of your CAQ for studies with the notation “Requérant” (Applicant). A notice of conditional approval will be sent simultaneously to the Canadian Visa Office (CVO) where you will apply for a Study Permit (question 12 on the form) so that it can assess your financial capacity.
