I am attempting to sponsor my wife (in country) and after about 7 months our original application was sent back as we were missing a signature on one form. I understand we can simply sign that and re-submit the original form.
However, I also noticed another mistake on another form (a mixed up date for a birthday/wedding date). This mistake hasn’t been addressed by immigration officials yet, but I’m sure it will be and I don’t want to wait another 7 months to have another application sent back.
The problem is I can’t validate that form by changing the date as my wife’s work permit has expired and I get an error message when trying to validate that form. Is there anything that can be done about that? Can I correct it with a pen? Can i send the form back without being validated?
