Hello,

I've spent several hours doing up our application forms, and now I want to work on them more but it says:
This document enabled extended features in Adobe Reader. The document has been changed since it was created and use of extended features is no longer available. Please contact the author for the original version of this document.

And this prevents me from modifying the form any more. Do any of you know a way around this problem? I would hate to have to re-do all the applications.

I don't think so, you aren;t able to save these so unfortunatley have to do them again. I always printed off the portions I was done so if I had to redo them it wouldnt be too long.

Good Luck.

You can save and re-open them. If you have a Mac use the Preview program or get a copy of Adobe Acrobat Pro. The free version of Adobe Acrobat Reader only allows access to those files once. They do it on purpose to make you pay for the pro version.

My husband got the same problem. I was able to save and modify all I wanted. The only difference was that he has a free version and I have the paid one of Adobe. I was able to check his spelling mistakes that way and sent it back to him. Once I did that, he was able to continue working on it.

Thank you. I thought I was going crazy for a moment. I do use OSX, and also have Acrobat Pro X, so that fixed my problems nicely.

Download Foxit Reader, it is free. You can edit and save. Cheers.
