Hi All, I have one year of Canadian work experience. I created my express profile and got into the pool on feb23. I am going to USA in MAY, I hope I will finish all documentation work by then and leave the country.

1. Now should I be mentioning my country of residence as Canada? (as I am going to leave to US sometime during MAY after submitting my PR application, should it be US?). The CIC website says the information has to be true all the time which cannot be in my situation.

2. How can I enter Canada again, once I receive my PR to have my visa stamped ?

Please give your suggestions . Appreciate your help . Thank you.

Once you get an ITA and before you’re about to submit your PR application, change your country of residence to US.

Once your PR is approved, you’ll be asked to submit your passport to a visa office where they’ll affix a visa counterfoil and send it back to you.
