Estimated processing time depends on the country of your residence even if you apply online.

Passport must be submitted only after you get a passport submission request

Thank You. I'm from Malaysia and my husband is a pilot. I'm afraid the submission of passport will take awhile as he needs it for work purposes. Any advise? Thank you

After you get the passport request, he has to find some time where he can be without his passport for up to a week on average. He can submit it in any country, but preferably one where there is a visa office so it can take a bit faster.
