Hi,
I have Canada multiple entry visa (10 years) arrive October 2024 and the tourist 6month stay will be due on April 2025. I have an interview for US tourist visa application on March 2025.
What will be the best way to get US approved, without them thinking I need to go the US for exit pathway just to renew my 6month stay for Canada.
Should I extend my Canada tourist before the interview? or this will make me look bad, that the US will think that I will be doing the same extension in the US?
Please help, I'm confused on what to do.

This is a US visa question. You should post it to a US immigration forum vs here.

Why don't you get your interview done in your original country? You are a temporary resident in Canada.

It was booked from 2years ago. When I was also here that time.

Then you should have requested to have interview in your original country. Somewhere in the US visa website mentioned that applicants should interview in their (permanent) residence country.

It also says there that I can booked the interview in a different country if I am visiting a family. That‘s what I am here in Canada. I am taking care of my grandchild.

Also problematic because that is considered working illegally.
