canadian spouse visa processing time

hello....
i just wanted to ask dat i got married on 28th of oct 2011....my husband is a canadian national and a doctor in montreal,Quebec.....the file was submitted at the canadian embassy on the 3rd of dec 2011....the file was transferred to islamabad embassy on the 30th of jan 2012....at the same time my husband also applied for the quebec selection and in a week or he got the letter from there also....since 30th of jan i'm waiting for any letter from the islamabad embassy but still no reply from them.....its been like 8 months now.....i want to ask u if u can provide me with sum details as in wat is going to be the processing time....this wait is killing me....

According to the CIC website (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm/fc-spouses.asp) Islamabad reports completing 80% of spousal applications in 26 months. Since you are now 8 months into the process, you should be prepared for it to take up to 18 more months.
