I have applied for the criminal rehabitilation process. According to the CA immigration website, I may be already deemed rehabitilated since more than 10 years have passed, and i have only one conviction.

Nonetheless, I enlisted the help of a professional lawyer in Toronto, who helped me put together a complete rehabilitation application which I then forwarded to the local consulate for processing.

The problem is, there is no way to track the process of my application. I consider myself deemed rehabilitated, but unless I have an official letter .. there's no way to prove it.

I know for a fact that non-serious rehabitilation process is typically faster, but at this point, what are my options ?? Should i go for a TRP .... or wait till i'm sure my application is approved, and then move ahead with my immigration process.

Processing times vary widely, even for those who should be deemed rehabilitated. We see anything from a few weeks to over a year here.

Yes - until then a TRP is your only option. Note that if approved, all a TRP does is allow you to enter Canada - not apply for PR.
