Hello all,

My parents have applied for Canadian PR as a skilled worker in January 2007. I was listed as one of their dependent child, and I recently ( a month ago) got married. Do I need to wait for my PR and then have my spouse apply or should I send a document about my marriage right now?

Thank you

You parents must inform the office processing their application that you are married and have you removed from their application as you are no longer a dependent.

HI,

I am soon getting married to someone who has recently received his Canadian PR but is working in the Middle East at the moment and does not plan on moving to Canada for another 1-2 years. He travels to Canada every now and then because his siblings are studying there and he plans on traveling every few months.

How can i travel with him? I applied for a Canadian tourist visa that just got rejected.

Will he sponsor me? can he sponsor me? i'm super confused because I wont be able to travel with him and after I am married there may be a conflict as he has his PR and I don't and I might not even get a visa.

PLEASE HELP!!
