Hi All,

Am at present in the USA and planning to apply for canadian PR.I need the advise and guidance on the following:

1.Can i apply on my own or do i take any help of immigration lawyers to file for PR on my behalf??

2.If u advise me to take help of Attorny's...then do u advise David Cohen to represent me??

3. Time frame for me to get the PR??

Appreciate answers to the above and any other info that may be of help to me.

Wishes,

Rav

:) You can get the forms and apply yourself, then go see a immigration lawyer or consultant which may be less expensive and make sure they are registered and have a liscence to practice as a consultant.

Have him or her check it if it is all okay, to make sure you answered the questions properly and no document missing. But first take the eligability test they have on here to see if you do qualify and get the 67 pts. No need to go see a lawyer for that, it is free. If you don,t qualify then it wuld be wise to get someone to see what you would need or do to qualify, why not do the test on canadavisa.com and then let them refer you to one of their lawyers where you live..once you take the test they will reply and let you know. So this way you are saving time and not risking spending money you don't have to.
