I have Canadian Passport. I want to travel to London, United Kingdom as a visitor.

(1) Please confirm do I require visitor/tourist visa in order to travel to UK from Canada?

(2) Do I need to show any kind of letter or proof of address where I will stay in the UK?

No, you don't require a visitor visa. You may have to enter the address that you are staying at on an immigration form, but in the 20+ times I've visited in the last five years, I have never had to show any letter or other proof.
