Canadian on F1 / I-20 studying in the United States. Wants to finish internship in Canada.

Hi,

I have been trying to gain some clarification. I am a senior in University in the United States. I am a Canadian Citizen so I have an I-20 and an F1 visa.

My last semester of school is just an internship pertaining to my area of study. I want to do my internship back in Canada. Do I have to cancel my visas and finish online? Can I take a hybrid class and travel back to the United States for the in class portion?

How can I do this?

Any help or guidance would be very appreciated.

I would suggest speak with your school international student office. They know better. I am also F1 student and want to transfer to Canada and I definitely know I will need to cancel my I20 status.
