hello all,
While completing the express entry profile, i mentioned that i have 14,000$ as proof of funds. I received an invitation under CEC and i currently have lesser funds than i mentioned, so do i show them whatever i have or shall i mention in my letter that i have been invited under CEC.

"Note: You do not have to meet the funds requirement if you were invited to apply under the Canadian Experience Class.

The system currently asks all applicants to provide a proof of funds document. If you don’t need to provide proof of funds, you must upload a letter explaining either that you have been invited to apply under the Canadian Experience Class, or that you have a valid job offer."

thanks for your response,
one last question, how do they decide between CEC and FSW, did my proof of funds play a role for them to decide that i should get invitation under CEC?
Thanks

If you are eligible for both, you will get an ITA for CEC by default. If you do not show sufficient proof of funds, you will not be eligible under FSW.
