Hi All

I am planning to apply for Canadian Experience Class Immigration soon. I am a foreign national and had travelled to few countries using my old passport. Unfortunately my old passport got damaged so badly and I had applied for a new passport in my country and with which I came to Canada an year ago and now I have the eligibility for applying CEC. Except Canadian stamping, I do not have any other visa stamping pages with the information of the countires that I had travelled. What should I do now? I am planning to get Police clearance certificates of all the countries where I stayed for more than 6 months anyway. Would they accept my application?

Any help with this regard is much appreciated.

Regards,
Kunishsa

I am no expert but I would say include a cover letter and include as much information as you can and attach your last passport info whatever you have and all your permits or entry documents in the countries you visited..

If you previously declared your travel history to various countries when you first came to Canada, then it should not be a big problem. In this case, CIC already know your travel history.

Also, if you have any scanned copy/photocopy of our previous passport you can add that to with your application and explain your situation in a cover letter.

It should not be an issue. I am from India, and my new passport has reference to the old passport number (Old passport number printed on the last page of the new passport). Check if it is same case with you as well. Also as someone pointed above you can explain in detail in a covering letter.
