I am newbie in this forum and need help.

I have started working in Toronto starting 1st May 2012 and worked completely for one year and still continue. My WP is for NOC 2174.

1. Wanted to confirm can I apply for PR in this category now or is their any other good option for me.

2. My wife does not want to apply for her PR along me as she wanted to go back. Can I apply for PR for myself right now and later add my family members once I receive confirmation. Currently they are staying with me in Toronto.

3. MY WP is expiring on NOV 2013, can I apply for open work permit based on my PR request.

Thanks in advance for help.

No, all have to apply together at once, you will be principle applicant

Yes, once you get the AOR, you can apply work BOWP(bridge open work permit)

NOA is the Notice of Assessment that you receive from CRA once you file your taxes..

and you will need a reference letter from your employer or supervisor which should explain your time period, pay and benefits along with the most important thing which would be the duties performed and it needs to be done on the company letterhead.

First question before all ,,, were you being paid in Canadian dollars In canada?

If you have received T4 from you employer and applied for Tax returns, you will receive NOA is a "Notice of Acknowledgement" from CRA(Canada Revenue)

Sample Reference letter

date company letter head
