Hi everyone there,

I have question related CEC application that So far i have worked 8 months in Canada. First 6 months i worked in Toronto and then from May i got job offer in Montreal so currently i am working in Montreal. After 4 months i will be eligible to apply CEC. But Can anybody please tell me How do i prove that i am not intending to live in Quebec and what will be the procedure to apply for CEC ?
Since i worked in Toronto I have residence proof which is G1 driving License card.

if ur currently residing in Québec, there is no way u can convince them, like I say, someone was rejected in the past for similar case but I am not exactly sure why but others will suggest for u. all the best

Your work experience gained in Quebec can be count to meet the one year work experience requirement for CEC.

It clearly says in the CIC website"If you have worked or studied in Quebec but intend to settle elsewhere in Canada that experience could help you meet the requirements of the CEC."

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/publications/cec.asp

You need to mention in the application form that your intended province is anything except Quebec. However, if you residential address and employer is in Quebec, then it will trigger a question whether you really intent to live outside Quebec. You have to convince in your application that you will live outside Quebec after sending your application. This could be done if you can move to other province with a new job. However, Quebec residential address could be a big problem during CEC application processing.

Hey thanks for reply,

But what if i show Toronto address while applying for CEC, Is that will work?

You should give them your true residential address at the time of application and throughout the application processing. If you are living and working in Toronto at the time of application only then you should mention Toronto as your address.Otherwise, you could be charge of misrepresentation, got your application refused and have removal from Canada for 2 years.
