Just curious if Canadian Embassy Manila will send notification email to applicants if they received the documents from CIC? Do you guys have an idea?

Thanks!

If your file has been transferred to the VO (in this case CEM) from CIO-NS (as you are a PNP applicant from your timeline) - then you will get a so-called "AOR-VO", which is your "notification".

The first AOR you get from CIO-NS states that your application package is deemed complete and will be sent to the VO for further processing. It also states receipt of the processing fees.

When your application package has been sent to the VO, a so-called "AOR-VO" is sent, notifying you that "a file has been created in the office for your application" and instructing you that all further correspondences, submissions will be sent to this VO. This includes your file number or client ID (if you have none yet)...

In many cases, this "AOR-VO" comes along with either a request for additional documents and/or MR as VOs tend to send correspondences/requests at once/at the same time to an applicant.

As often, keep watch on your email spam folder.

../hth and all the best....

if ragluf was right, meaning we really dont have any AOR-VO yet, and so no MR until now.

In many cases, this "AOR-VO" comes along with either a request for additional documents and/or MR as VOs tend to send correspondences/requests at once/at the same time to an applicant.

Typically that above is what happens - the request for additional docs - if required (i.e. NBI, updated travel history etc.) comes along with the so-called AOR from the VO ("AOR-VO") and in many cases includes the MR/IME instructions. Sometimes, the MR/IME instructions comes shortly after as a second email correspondence with attachments for the MR forms.

Might need a bit more patience. I see on the other threads (FAM, FSW, TFW) that there has been good news lately and CEM may have shifted its priorities for these past weeks to these classes. In looking at the past few years of news specific to CEM in this forum, despite what we assume that there are dedicated people handling applications for each class, I have observed it to be more of a 'round-robin' type of thing. with news coming in batches to different classes handled by CEM. And these are some of the longest waits in the process - the stage between the CIO-NS AOR to MR, and the stage from MR to PPR, so hang-in there.

That's a bit of a relief; thank you ragluf! I need more patience, yes, however I can't stop myself from thinking about our application :D

This type of waiting game is crazier and tougher than I thought! Every beep of my phone for email notifications is quickly checked and I can't seem to be away from my pocket wifi 'cause I want to see the email from CEM right away after it's added in my mailbox. This is really exhausting, yet promising! :)

I (and others who are also waiting) am really hoping to receive MR soon. :)
