hello everyone, i was just gave birth to my son and i was married to a canadian citizen.and now were processing for my PR. i want to ask if we need to apply for my son canadian citizenship or we just include him to my PR application. what is the best option? please need help... thanks......

i think, you can apply directly for citizenship for your son....the process would take few months but it is much sooner than pr processing...

No, you don't need to have your son's citizenship app processed before you apply for PR. The two apps are entirely independent of each other.

I applied for my daughter's citizenship proof from Afghanistan while my wife's pr application was in process. I received it in less than 2 months..

canadian citizenship for ur son and ur PR process both are the different things...
so if ur PR process under process then its not effect his citizenship..i think you should apply his brth certificate and then citizenship certificate...
you just need to inform VO dat u gave birth to a baby..just send them his birth certificate...

we received it in just 4 months but some people got it just 2 months. ....they usually said its 10 to 12 months procedure but don't worry you guys received it in just a lil time. ..

my son also received both passport and certificate. ..he is ready to go...but delay from my side bcoz its 15 months timeline in my VO. ..
