Canadian citizen returning after 5 years in Australia- bringing personal jewellery back

Hi there!

Just wondering if I will have to pay taxes/duty on jewellery (watch, engagement ring) I am bringing back on my return to Canada. Do I have to own the jewellery a certain amount of time before I move back?

You need to fill out the BSF 186 form and list each "valuable item separately. Should be no tax provided any single item is less than $10K CDN.
