I was wondering if anybody knows:
My bf is from the phillipines, I am Canadian- and I am going to have his baby right away. He will eventually be coming back I canada after his visa and work permit are processed but I was wondering if putting him as the father on the birth certificate of our baby will create a problem for him when he enters canada. Can immigration see If a foreigner is a registered father to a canadian child ? And if so would they ask him to
Prove funds sufficient enough to care for the baby as well as himself? I do not want to make the entry process and the grilling intimidating immigration officers make it more complicated for him then it already is!! If it will make it more difficult for his entry to be approved I would rather leave him
Off the birth certificate until he has successfull entered then add his name later. Any help or suggestions on where to ask would be appreciated
