Hello. I am hoping to find out if I can claim Canadian citizenship as my mother, who is currently a British citizen was born and was as far as I know a Canadian citizen when I was born. My first step is to try and help her obtain a copy of her long birth certificate. Can anyone point me in the right direction please.
