We have been granted permanent residency and plan to land at the end of August 2010 but then to return after two weeks holiday to the UK for up to 2/3 years prior to settling permanently in Canada. I understand that, when we land, we will have to provide an address in Canada for our Permanent Residence Card to delivered to. As we will not be living there and do not have relatives or friends in Canada, we have no address to provide. Can anyone make any suggestions how we can overcome this problem, please?

You can go to UPS and secure an address by them to have your mail sent to. I am sure you can deal with them to send this mail to you in the UK.

Keep in mind that the residency requirements to keep your Canadian PR is staying in Canada 2 years in every 5 so if you stay in the UK for 3 years after getting your PR, you will not be able to leave Canada for the next 2 after that.
