Hi, I am thinking of relocating to Canada for a year to come back and apply in EB1 category. I am currently in the US on H-1B and my GC priority date in EB2 is Aug 2010.

Here are my questions:
1) Should I ask my company to do a intra-company transfer or a work permit with LMIA?
2) Can I rent out my house here in the US while in Canada?
3) Can I maintain my bank accounts for mortgage and rent while in Canada?
4) What factors other than a full-time job with my current employer will help me in getting a Canadian PR soon?

Thanks for your response!

1. Will depend in your position and the company
2. yes. You will have to declare your rental income
3. yes but you will likely be making quite a lot less plus the exchange rate.
4. skills that are in demand.
