Canada Work permit and Travel without Job

i am currently in India, i got the work permit through my company. currently there is no positions open in Canada so i am still working here.

Can i travel to Canada and find the new job there ? is it allowed? let me know the process.

If it is not an open work permit, you can work only for the job you have work permit.

No - you don't qualify for an open work permit. You need to secure a job offer from another employer and that employer must obtain an approved LMIA so that you can apply for a new closed work permit.
