Hi,
I am completing my Canada Express Entry Profile and I have a question about the work history section. I have worked in Canada for the past 10.5 months for 40 hours per week. If I enter this information, the CRS tool states that my Canada Work Experience requirements are met and I get 40 points allocated for that.
But in all the IRCC FAQs, they have clearly stated that you should have worked in Canada for a minimum of 365 days or 1 year for Canada Work Experience Requirements to be met.
In all my current and previous employment reference letters, it is stated that I have worked for 40 hours per week for the past 4 years.
I want to ensure that additional points do not get added to my profile incorrectly. Should I enter 30 hours per week for my Canada Work Experience so that the system does not allocate points to me for work experience of less than a year or should I enter 40 hours per week as per my employment and reference letter statements?
Please advice.
