Canada Visitor Visa - Bank statement

For a family of 5, how much Canadian Dollars should I show in my bank balance? I want to know if the amount I have will be sufficient.

Also, I have travel history of UK, Turkey(twice), Georgia - same for my family but they don’t have UK.

Purpose of travel: Will be traveling for 10 days - no family in Canada - have always dreamt of “seeing” Canada …

Any tips on getting the visa?

$5-10k per person. Your travel history has nothing to do with them. Each person is assessed based on their own travel history and ties to return. Turkey and Georgian don't count. If all going then no family ties to return.
