Canada-US Land Border Travel during Covid-19

Hi Everyone,

My common law partner and I are Temporary Workers and we both have two trips planned soon:
1- To the US: To attend my brother’s small wedding at the end of October. We are going to go 14 days prior to that so we can Quarantine in Massachusetts
a. Being a direct relative’s wedding, is there a chance we can drive there and then get back? (For us its a 5 hour drive)
b. In case a its negative, we should not have any constraints going by Plane right?

2- To our Home Country: We’re planning to go Mid November to January, also doing our Quarantine and following all safety precaution so we can visit our family.
a. Coming from a country which is not the US will that be an issue?
b. We’re planning on getting our Pet, as well. Without Covid we took her already many times, but we are not sure right now. Any experiences with this?

You’ll need to quarantine when you return. Assume you are both employed or getting back to Canada could an issue.
