Canada TRV for Mother - Finalization to Decision letter

Hello!!
I've applied for TRV for my mother on the 13th of August 2019 online. As stated by the website, I would receive an update 35 days later. However, I there was no update given. I emailed them on this matter and they replied that they've finalized the application and we would receive a decision letter soon. This was 3 days ago. Would anyone know how long does this usually take from finalization of the application to receiving the decision letter? Do you think it's a good idea to email them asking about the same?

Just a note that the processing time on the website is an estimate not an absolute. It is the time when they are able to process a majority of their applications. Some applications can be done quicker and some can take longer, also the time is subject to change.

However, would you happen to know how long does it take from the finalization of the application until the decision letter is sent of the applicant? This was why I created this thread
