HELLO EVERYONE,

I applied for Permanent Residency back in 2007. I still haven't heard from the Embassy regarding the status of my application. I am planning to enroll at Mothercraft College in Toronto for a one-year diploma course in teaching Early Childhood. I would like to know if there is a good chance of getting employment in childcare after graduation.

Has anyone in this forum taken this route before? I would be pleased to hear your story and suggestions.

Thank you!

Hi,

1. It's a private school. You will NOT be eligible for any off campus work permit/post graduation work permit.

Hi, thanks for the info. I just wonder what this means..."To obtain a work permit after your graduation, you must meet the following requirements:..Canadian private institution authorized by provincial statute to confer degrees but only if you are enrolled in one of the programs of study leading to a degree as authorized by the province and not in all programs of study offered by the private institution.
