CANADA - SSN for student visa students?

So,
I have a paypal account in my home country right now.
But as per PP rules, when i immigrate I must close the account in my hime country and start a new one there...so which forms of documents will I get when i enter either of these countries as a Student....like SSN(I guess not) or other form of IDs that will allow me to verify my paypal account i the new country so that I make use of it fully?
