Canada PR Renewal

I have a Canada PR which will expire this in September 2009 and I have just landed initially and never stayed in Canada. Can I still renew my PR if so what would be the procedure.

I also have a question if I am able to renew my PR then can I start/open a company in Canada while staying in the USA. Any responses are greatly appreciated.

i presume you landed 5 years ago and never stayed. If that is the case, your PR will expire (perhaps it already has) because you won't be able to make that 2 years of residency requirement by september 2009.

Canadian PRs can start a company in Canada while in USA.

But since i am no expert at this stuff (i dont have my PR yet), lets wait for others to answer.

Nope, you cannot renew your PR if you have not met the criteria of staying in Canada for 2 years.
