Hey i have taken admission for a project management course for sep 2011 which has a duration of 8 months and i heard recently that the post study work permit has been changed.. Is it true? I have heard that from Jan 2012 only 2 year courses would get a work permit and there would be no work permit for 1 year courses..so will the new rules affect me? or i would still get a 1 year work permit...
 
Yes, Exactly, What is the source..?? I don't see it on CIC Website. It's last Updated on March 28th, 2011
 
I am also going for Project Management, Can you tell which College are you going to study..??

Please tell where you heard this news, I mean after reading this article I searched across all over the internet but I found absolutely nothing which said that this is going to happen. I think you got some wrong information and i suggest that you dont worry about it because there is nothing official about it anywhere.

Well even i have searched the internet and also checked the canadian newspapers and i just found this link which is in regards to immigration

But still i think better to confirm that are the rules changing...Please let me know if any other info is obtained..
