Hello Admin,

I tried to locate the application package for 'CANADA LONELY STREAM" application on Family Sponsorship, but I cannot find this particular application package.

I am wondering if there is specific application package entitled: Canada Lonely Stream: Family Sponsorship. I am confused with this type of application.

I will appreciate if you can help me again on this. Where to find to download it?

Always thankful for your help

why do you keep trying to find a lonely stream application. there's no such thing as a lonely stream.

Hi Admin,

I keep saying "Canada Lonely Stream" because this term was used as a response from the forum to my query if I can sponsor a sibling ( because I no longer have parents, no husband, no children, no common law partner, ect.. to sponsor to become immigrant to Canada. The answer was "yes," under "Canada Lonely Stream."

Only now I know that there is no specific application package as such. Forgive my ignorance.. I will follow the website you've given to locate the application.

Thanks again.

Yes there is a lonely stream. The application is just the general application for sponsorship of other relatives.

ok so why don't you just call it by its proper name, i.e. "the general application for sponsorship of other relatives"? it's not called "lonely stream", and referring to it by that made up name just confuses everyone.

It's a generic term used here on the forum, much like "outland" and "inland", which are actually called "Application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class" and "Application for Permanent Residence in Canada—Spouse or Common-Law Partner".

It only seems to have confused a few people, not everyone...

Because the only people that can use this stream must have no spouse, kids, family in Canada or parents. Hence the nickname "lonely" to describe the specific situation that qualifies someone. Using just it's proper name would confuse even more people who may think they qualify to sponsor relatives when they really don't.
