Canada Express Entry: FBI PCC Delay

Hello Friends,

With the current FBI PCC Delay, I will definitely miss my Express Entry ITA dead-line. There is currently a wait time of 14-16 weeks. What is the process to request for an extension of ITA? Is there an email ID ?

Any information will be highly appreciated.

You can't extend the 90 days deadline after the ITA. What you can do is to submit your complete application without the FBI PCC. Instead of the PCC, upload an explanation letter with some proofs (such as mailing receipts, tracking information of your package, etc.) that you have already applied for the FBI PCC and are waiting for it in time. In this case, you will get an extension just for this single document. Good Luck!

You do not get extension to submit the Application, however, you can get extension to provide PCC given that you provide a LOE along with all the information that you were proactive in getting the PCC from FBI as soon as you got the invitation. You should provide any receipts, tracking details, payment receipts etc along with LOE and CIC will give you 60 days extension...
