can you still apply for owp with no status ?

i mean i know people do anyways ... but are they getting owp with no status with inland application? thank you

If you are out of status when you apply you won't get it until the very end of your PR application (close to AIP), so around the 10 month mark for most (vs. 3-4 month mark if you were in status).

If you’re out of status and applied inland together with OWP you will hear the approval of your OWP after you passed the eligibility or AIP stage then they will send it by mail.
