Can you re-take a CLB assessment test?

Is there a restriction or limit on how many times and more importantly how often one could take the CLB assessment test? A settlement worker told me it can be taken once every two years, which is the period of its validity, but this sounds too harsh to me.

No limit. There is no 2 year rule.

Would you happen to have a link with some information on that? To my knowledge once you do the CLB assessement, the results are linked to the PR card. The centre where I did the assessment the first time said they can't re-do the test for me. So I was thinking to do it in another assessment centre but then there is the issue of the first result being linked to my PR card. Any thoughts or more info from personal experience?
