Can you only add additional documents once you’ve received AOR?

Hello!
1. Can you only add additional documents (for example, documents you were missing due to covid) after you’ve received AOR?
2. Can you only amend a mistake on your application once you receive AOR?
3. Is the only way to do 1&2 via a web form??

yes, you can submit through web form. If you have linked with GCKey account and got additional document requirement from IRCC, you can also upload documents through GCKey account.

Thanks for the reply! Do you have to receive your AOR first before you can add more documents/edit information?
I’m asking because we’ve submitted application already but realized we made a mistake on the UCI number (we copy and pasted it, and accidentally left out the last 2 numbers) and I don’t want the application to be returned because of incorrect information, or for example if they try looking up my husband based off this UCI number that doesn’t even exist because we made a mistake on this number. We’re worried we won’t even be issued an AOR because this UCI doesn’t exist...

If AOR is issued...for additional documents can we just upload it or do we have to wait for them to ask us for it? We didn’t have marriage certificate because covid closures and wrote a letter explaining this. But now we’ve received the marriage certificate and want to upload it. Can we just do this via web form once AOR comes or will we have to wait for them to request it?
