Can you Fedex Dropbox Application from US to Canada for H1B Stamping?

I have a friend in Canada. I gave his address and his details for pickup.
My last H1B stamping also happened in Canada. I got the dropbox option this time too. I am applying for an extension.

I am a Canadian PR.

My plan is to mail the passport to the US Consulate in Canada. Then it will be delivered to my friend. He can then post the same back to me in the US.

Basically, my question is if it is possible and okay to ship my application from the US to Canada?

There are cases where people were asked to come for in-person interview after documents were sent. Be prepared for that. Also, whats your plan after getting the Visa stamped? you anyhow have to enter US with new visa, so better plan accordingly.
