Can we study online degree from India while on closed work permit in Canada.

Hi! I came as an International Student in 2019. Completed my two years diploma. Now on closed work permit in Canada. Want to boost my knowledge and achieve degree. It doesn't matter to me whether I am eligible to use the degree to boost my Express entry points. I just want to complete bachelors degree to increase my knowledge. was not sure whether this will create trouble for me in future? Or its fine to do pursue online degree from India. Please advice Thanks
