Simple question I guess. I'm wondering if my wife applies for a visitor visa while our application is being processed, and she gets denied the visitor visa (likely :P, but who knows), will it in any way affect the sponsorship? Either bad or good.

Thanks :)

It wont' affect, but don't keep trying again and again for the visitor visa after you be refused, because that will show your wife has shown multiple attempts to enter Canada.

If she is refused the visitor visa, submit copy of the refusal letter, along with the cover letter written to get the visitor visa, to the visa office for your wife. That will show that your wife tried to visit you to spend time with you, but couldn't due to CIC.

Only tried once, back in september. Figured it's been nearly a year, maybe we'll have better luck this time since she has more money, but they'll probably say no.
