Can we land having fine gold with us

Guys question related to landing in Canada with holding fine gold.

IS it allowed to land Saskatchewan (Canada in general) having fine gold (let's say 200gm or 500 gm, whatever)? Are these taxable at POE or later? Receipt of these fine gold is in hand, no issues.

i think u can land with gold but need to pay custom duty.u must declare at border so they will charge u custom and will
allow. still i will insist u to call CBSA and get perfect answer.
