Can we go to the States?

Hi seniors
Me and my kids are from visa exempt country and planing on going shopping to Seattle this Wednesday.
We are currently holding OWP and study permits expiring OCT 01,2012 and our landing date is scheduled on August 13 in CIC Vancouver.

My questions are;

1. Can we go to the States before our landing date?
2. Can we take our 5 months old puppy with us and leave him alone in the car while shopping? Any restrictions?

2. Don't be stupid, leave the dog at home, it is cruelty to leave an animal in a locked car.

Agreed. If it's a hot day and someone calls the police, you could be facing criminal charges.

I will find someone who can look after our puppy that day.

We dont need a US visa coz we are from visa exempt country just cautious about leaving from Canada before landing Can we still go to the States anyway?

it should'nt be a problem as long as u have a valid paper to come back into the country.

And please dont leave the puppy in the car since its an offence.
