Hi

I have applied for PR under CEC from within Canada for me and my wife and hopefully I will get my MR soon. Last month a baby boy was born for me and my wife outside Canada. Now I want to bring them back to Canada before passport request is made. My question is can I get Visa's for my wife and new born baby after the Medicals are completed for PR?

thanks

Also, can someone pls let me know if passport can be submitted outside canada without primary applicant?

Once the medicals are requested, you can request to add your new born baby to your application, it does not take much time. Once they add the baby to the file, they will request for the medicals for the baby followed by PPR. Once the passports are stamped you can get your wife and baby to Canada. The same thing happened with one of my friends.

Yes, you can.

The following post might help you.

thanks waitstartedaug13 for the reply. But the situation here is bit different than the other post. Here Primary applicant is in Canada and dependents are in India. I want to complete their medicals in India , apply for visitor visa as my dependents and then submit passports from Canada. So If I apply for visitor visa for dependents from India after the Medicals , will those get processed?

Thanks
